ELK HUNTS
At the Express UU Bar Ranch, vast prairie grasslands, cedar and pinyon-pine covered mesas, and beautiful pine forests provide excellent habitat for a wide variety of huntable big game species.
Our goal is to offer exceptional quality in all of our hunts. While we can't guarantee the success of your hunt, we can promise to make it one of the most memorable hunting trips of your life.

Generally, Elk Hunting season runs September 1 - January 31

GUIDED ELK HUNT PACKAGES:

New Mexico State Hunting License, Private Land Elk Tag, and NM Habitat Stamp.
Lodging and meals.
Guide service and on-site transportation while on your hunt.

Field dressing and caping out your harvest to your specifications.

Not included in the cost of the hunts are:
Meat processing.
Taxidermy costs for mounting or tanning of the hide.

2023 TROPHY BULL ELK GUIDED HUNT PACKAGES (ARCHERY, RIFLE, & MUZZLELOADER)
Our Trophy Bull Elk Packages consist of a six-night, five-day all-inclusive package. Arrive the night before between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Hunt five full days with one on one guide service, and depart after breakfast on your sixth morning. During your stay you can enjoy beautiful accommodations and gourmet meals, or if you are looking for a more rustic experience, we offer high mountain cabins on a limited basis. The number of trophy hunts is limited. Please call for availability of hunts and lodging.
All prices listed below for the Express UU Bar and CS American Creek Units are subject to an additional Harvest Fee or Refund per our Harvest Fee & No Kill Refund Policy. Call us to request a copy of our Harvest Fee & No Kill Refund Policy. The Harvest Fee and Refund Policy does not apply to the CS Ranch Unit 48 Martinez, American Creek, or the Cimarron River portion of Unit 55B.

MANAGEMENT BULL ELK PACKAGE (RIFLE ONLY)
Our Management Bull Hunt Package is a Four-night, Three-day all-inclusive package. Arrive the night before between 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Hunt Three days and depart after breakfast on your fourth morning. During your stay you can enjoy beautiful accommodations and gourmet meals. Please call for availability of hunts and lodging. This hunt is for bulls with deformed antler(s) only. (See our antler guidelines below)
A Management Bull Elk is classified as a bull elk exhibiting the following:
A dramatically deformed antler on one or both sides.
An Immature bull such as a "Raghorn Bull" does not qualify as a "Management Bull". It is your guide's responsibility to make the call on what is a management bull.

Are you are looking for some lean, healthy meat in the freeze at an affordable price? Than look no further, this is package for you. Our 3 night Antlerless Elk Package is a three-night, two day all-inclusive package. One of or experience elk guides is included! Arrive the night before between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. You will check into your room, visit with your guide, sight in your rifle, have a wonderful meal prepared by one of our cooks, and get ready for your hunt. Hunt two full days on one of the finest ranches in the West. Departure is after breakfast on your third morning. During your stay you can enjoy beautiful accommodations and gourmet meals. Please call for availability of hunts and lodging. This hunt is for an antlerless elk only. Bulls with antlers CANNOT be taken during this hunt. Success Rate on this hunt is right at 100%. Guests are welcome but call for availability. Meals and room charges for Guests are not included in this price.

Buddy Hunt: Book 2 antlerless elk hunts at the same time, one for you and one for your hunting buddy. You and your hunting buddy must stay in the same room and use the same guide (2 on 1 hunt).
